MISHA JOHNSON

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Misha is an Actors Equity Association (AEA) professional actress out of Denver Colorado, but was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. She holds credits with the Denver Center Theatre Company, Arvada Center, Curious Theatre, Aurora Fox, The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Stories on Stage,  Theatreworks, and the Rochester Civic Theatre. She was a founding member of the historical enactor program at the Museum of Nature and Science and worked with them for 10 years, has toured regionally with the Denver Children's Theatre in their outreach program, and has been was a lead educator on their staff during their regular season. She was a member of the Bug Children's Theatre for 5 years where her she was a costume designer and director of educational outreach. She is also an accomplished recording artist, singer/songwriter, author, and voiceover artist. 

LINDSEY BLACKHURST

Co-Founder & Artistic Director

Lindsey Blackhurst is a seasoned performer and teacher extraordinaire. Her performance experience includes musical theatre, opera, contemporary American plays and Shakespeare's classics throughout the US and abroad. She holds a BFA in performing arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MA and EdM from Teachers College - Columbia. Her resume consists of private voice students auditioning for Broadway casts to teaching six years at Bronxville Middle School, where she was both a chorus and theatre teacher as well as  their Musical Theatre director. She has worked for ESF Camps as the Musical Theater Specialist, taught performing arts at Salem Academy Summer Spotlight, and was the lead teacher with the Peanut Butter Players.
